For those of you who have homes over 100 years old and are located in the City of Tallmadge, some relief may be coming your way.  If your home is in need of repairs such as painting, wood replacement or items deemed to preserve your home,  the Tallmadge Historical Society offers an annual grant program to help in those repairs.  Please note modifications not are not eligible since this grant is for the preservation of historical homes only.

Applications packets are be available by calling the Society, and we will get a packet out to you.  All applications must be completed and returned to the Society by Mid March each year.  Grant applications will be approved or denied at the Societys' annual meeting.  This is a Reimbursement Grant.  Restoration of the property must be completed by years end and the Society will inspect for completion and reimburse you for the grant amount.
