Sue was named College of Arts & Sciences Teacher of the Year 1995. Co-authored three editions of “Explorations” a third year instruction textbook adopted by University of Michigan and Harvard University. Backpacked through Europe. She traveled to Ireland, Norway, Spain, France, Germany.
